Deionizing Equipment
Minerals and other contaminants in the final rinse station are often responsible for
the spots and stains that can develop on the surface of parts during the
drying process. Greco Rinse Purifiers are free-standing deionizing systems that can convert
any rinse tank into a closed-loop, deionized water rinse station.
By combining particle filtration, carbon adsorption, and ion exchange technologies,
these systems remove organic and inorganic contaminants (detergents, oils, and minerals) from the rinse water and return clear, deionized water to the final rinse station in a cleaning, plating, or anodizing operation. The water in the rinse tank is continuously circulated and purified, eliminating the need to
discharge rinse water to drain.
Because each of the high-capacity media housings is capable of accepting activated carbon or one of several available resin formulations, different combinations can be employed to achieve the desired water quality for nearly any application. Each model includes a pre-filter, two to four treatment housings, a flow meter, a purity indicator light, and a pressure gauge.
All treatment media is supplied in .5 cubic foot easily-replaceable sacks, eliminating the need to handle loose media. Changing the treatment sacks is as easy as changing a filter bag; out with the old, in with the new. Consumed resin can be disposed of or returned for replenishment.
